What we help with

In person in Evergreen, Alabama, and online for clients across Alabama and Florida. Adolescents from 14, adults and couples.

  1. Anxiety and depression

    Ongoing individual counseling — for the low-grade kind that never quite lifts as much as for the acute kind. Talking therapy, at your pace.

  2. Trauma

    Structured work for people carrying something heavy, using Cognitive Processing Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. A course with a shape to it, not open-ended talking.

  3. Cognitive Processing Therapy

    A short, structured course — usually around twelve sessions — for the thoughts that got stuck after something happened. Named here because people search for it by name.

  4. Dialectical Behavior Therapy

    Practical skills for strong emotions: staying steady under pressure, handling conflict, getting through a bad hour without making it worse.

  5. Couples

    For the conversations that keep going wrong at home. Ask when you book and we’ll tell you honestly whether couples or individual work fits better.

  6. Crisis counseling and mobile crisis response

    Support when it can’t wait, including response in the field rather than the office. We are the mental-health provider to the Conecuh County Fire Association.

  7. Support for Those Who Have Served

    As a Marine Corps infantry Veteran, Ernest brings a firsthand understanding of military service that helps him connect with Veterans through shared experience, respect, and understanding.

  8. Notary

    Documents can be notarized at the office. Ernest holds a Notary Public commission issued in Conecuh County, Alabama.

Teens from 14, adults and couples

We don’t see children under 14. If that’s who you’re looking for help for, ask us and we’ll point you somewhere good.

In person in Evergreen or online anywhere in Alabama; online only in Florida. These aren’t interchangeable — it’s a licensing line, not a preference.
