Accessibility statement
What we have done, what we know is imperfect, and how to tell us when we have got it wrong.

Our commitment
We want everyone to be able to use this site, including people who browse with a keyboard only, a screen reader, magnification, speech input, or with animation turned off.
The standard we aim at
We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA. That is the level most public bodies and procurement processes ask for, and it is the level this site was built to.
What we have done
- Every page can be operated with a keyboard alone, and the focus indicator is always visible.
- A “skip to content” link is the first thing a keyboard user reaches.
- Headings are in a real order, so a screen reader can navigate by them.
- Form fields have labels that are properly associated with them, not placeholder text pretending to be a label.
- Text reflows to narrow screens and at 200% zoom without horizontal scrolling.
- Motion respects
prefers-reduced-motion. If your system asks for reduced motion, animation is switched off rather than merely shortened. - The site works with JavaScript disabled. Content is never hidden pending a script.
- Color is never the only way information is conveyed.
Conformance status
This site aims to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA.
Known issues
We know about the following and intend to fix them:
- This is a preview build. Content, contact details and the web address are not final.
How this was assessed
Reviewed by hand during the build, using keyboard-only navigation and automated checks.
