Before you book
Fees and insurance
How payment works, what we can bill, and what to do if cost is the thing standing in the way. It’s the question people ask last and worry about first, so it gets its own page.
We accept most major insurance. Call for a benefits check.
Tiffany will tell you what your plan covers and what, if anything, you’d owe per session — before you book, not after.
Insurance we can bill
Blue Cross and Blue Shield, including All Kids · United Healthcare · Ambetter · Aetna
That is not the whole list — we can bill most major plans.
If your plan isn’t on the list, ask anyway. Out-of-network benefits sometimes cover more than people expect.
Paying without insurance
Plenty of people pay directly — because their plan doesn’t cover counseling, or because they’d rather it not go through insurance at all. That’s a legitimate reason and not one we’ll ask you to justify.
Session fee: $150 for a 50-minute session
By law you’re entitled to a written Good Faith Estimate of what your care will cost, before your first appointment. We give you one as a matter of course.
If cost is the barrier
Say so. It’s a practical question with practical answers — how often, how long, what the plan actually covers, whether a different arrangement makes sense. What we’d rather not have happen is somebody deciding on their own that it’s out of reach, on a guess.
Cancellations
$75 if you cancel less than 24 hours before your appointment. $150 if you do not come and do not call.
The point of that is not to make money out of things that come up. Tell us what has happened and we will work round it.
No surprises
- You know the cost before the session, not after.
- We don’t take payment on this website. Payment happens in our clinical system.
- Nothing is charged for asking.
